Hosted by THE Theadora Perplexa, come join one of the Barony’s most famous traditions! Bring a wrapped gift for swapping in a wild and woolly game of “what’s in the box????” If gifts are meant for adults, please mark them accordingly as 18+ or 21+.
William Marshal Heavy Weapons & Rapier Tournaments
William the Marshal was one of the most prolific knights in the medieval period, winning tournament after tournament and amassing great wealth. The tournament memorializes this by allowing fighters to donate toys to remain in the tournament longer. The winner of each tournament will be awarded a prize.
Archery Tournament
Grab your bows! Oldenfeld has long been known as a stronghold for archery. Come test your aim and compete in our Yule archery prize tournament.
Oldenfeld’s Famous Yule Poetry Contest
This is one of the most hilariously ridiculous contests Oldenfeld does each year. Participants will be given a list of words that must be used to complete an original work. Entries will be blind-judged and the winner will be awarded a prize.
Yule Dessert Contest
Contest participants will bring their desserts to be judged by popular vote at the end of feast. Desserts can be anything and do not have to be “period accurate.” The winner will be awarded a prize.
